(November 27, 2013) – The Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that street improvements will require lane closures on SE Foster Road between SE 136^th Avenue and SE 142^nd Avenue from Monday, December 2 through Thursday, December 5, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. 

The lane closures are necessary to grind down the existing pavement in preparation to repave .51 lane miles of the street.

One traffic lane will remain open at all times. Local access to residences and businesses will be provided.

The public is advised to expect delays while street improvements are being made. We ask the public to travel cautiously, observe lane closures and directions by flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible.

This work is weather-dependent and the schedule may change.
