News Release: Timbers 3/8 game - consider transportation options, event rate parking to be in effect. Go Timbers!
(March 3, 2014) – The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation is asking Timbers fans to consider their transportation options for the 7:30 p.m. March 8th game in order to keep streets and transit running smoothly.
Fans are encouraged to take TriMet or walk or take a bicycle. Ample temporary bicycle parking is available at Providence Park. People who drive are encouraged to park in one of the City’s SmartPark garages.
For parking meters, event rate pricing of $3.50 per hour will be in effect from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Regular parking rates of $1.60 per hour will apply at other times.
Northwest neighborhood event Zone M permit parking restrictions also will be in effect from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
