Safe Routes to School kicks off Spring
On Saturday, April 12, Safe Routes to School held its 4th Annual Spring Kick-off at Earl Boyles Elementary School. Over 100 people joined us to celebrate walking and biking to school. Families enjoyed lots of activities, including a helmet egg drop, a flat tire workshop, free basic bike repair, a walking school bus table and lots more. A healthy lunch was served and the event culminated with a community bike ride through the neighborhood. Our 2014 Spring Kick-off was a great success and we hope that you will join us next year!
