Looking for ways to Thrive with Kaiser Permanente
Expect to see more bright green shirts among the diverse mix of people attending the July 27 Sunday Parkways in Northeast Portland. Employees, family and friends of presenting sponsor Kaiser Permanente will ride the course wearing the green “Thrive” shirts of the health care brand.
If you have health care with Kaiser Permanente, you may even see your doctor or care provider out there. The ride is organized thanks to a new Active Living employee group designed to promote healthy lifestyles throughout the company.
About the group, Karen Shartman, vice president and CFO with Kaiser Permanente NW says, "Our aim is to improve our lives and have more avenues to connect so that we can be a model for the community. Whatever health goals we set, we want our employees to get the support they need and have fun doing it.”
Be sure to visit the Kaiser Permanente booth at Alberta Park to sign up for a chance to win a NIKE+ FuelBand! And, share your healthy selfie on social media at #kphealthie.
