The final event in the season of Sunday Parkways has come, and we are excited for this hilly tour of Southwest Portland. The route will take participants over the mountain (well over the hills) and through four activity hubs: Hillsdale Shopping Center, Troy Street Marketplace, Multnomah Village, and Gabriel Park.

At Hillsdale Shopping Center, participants should make sure to stop by Food Front, one of our great sponsors, for coffee, local pear tasting and other goodies. For those looking to capture memories of the last event of the season, a quick step over to the Everett Custom Homes photo booth will do the trick. Along with photos and pear tasting, the site will offer an array of other local businesses to support, all with the cool crisp sounds of Jon Koonce playing in the forefront.

Just a walk or bike trip down the route is the Troy Street Marketplace where the Mudtown Stompers will be offering live music from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. At the same site, Portland Firefighters are providing free CPR classes as part of the Portland Fire & Rescue mission to teach more people how save lives. There will also be tons of booths bustling with voodoo, shaved Ice, and sustainable resources.
