  • Find information and resources on statewide grant opportunities and advocacy at the state level. Provides resources and support for rural and urban programs.

Connect with SRTS leaders from around the state through the Oregon Safe Routes to School Network, which brings coordinators and organizations together to create shared goals and actionable improvements for statewide programs. They also can provide region-specific support and tools to improve or create your own Safe Routes programs.

Safe Routes to School National Partnership

  • You can find a ton of great Safe Routes information on their site that can help support your school programs. Resources, expert advice, quick facts, statistics and more. 

Launched in August 2005, the Safe Routes to School National Partnership is a fast-growing network of hundreds of organizations, government agencies and professional groups working to set goals, share best practices, leverage infrastructure and program funding and advance policy change to help agencies that implement Safe Routes to School programs.

The Safe Routes to School National Partnership's mission is to advance safe walking and bicycling to and from schools, and in daily life, to improve the health and well-being of America's children and to foster the creation of livable, sustainable communities.

National Center for Safe Routes to School

  • Get connected to national conferences, information on webinars or local trainings, and evaluation tools to assist in capturing data for your programs.

Established in May 2006, the National Center for Safe Routes to School assists states and communities in enabling and encouraging children to safely walk and bicycle to school. The National Center serves as the information clearinghouse for the federal Safe Routes to School program. The organization also provides technical support and resources and coordinates online registration efforts for U.S. Walk to School Day and facilitates worldwide promotion and participation.
