Four years ago, the Community Cycling Center transformed a vacant lot into a place where residents of New Columbia, an affordable housing community in the Portsmouth neighborhood, can get their bikes fixed, meet friends, and go on bike rides, while learning bike maintenance skills. In that time, their mechanics and volunteers fixed over 1,000 bikes. Stop by this Sunday Parkways on June 26th to see the Bike Repair Hub in action and go for a ride on the Bike Skills Park!
