The NW Parking District Stakeholder Advisory Committee currently has three (3) at-large positions available that the City is seeking to fill. The terms are for two years or three years with a start date of October 2017.
The committee derived from Council Resolution No. 36984 which recommended the formation of an advisory committee to evaluate district transportation needs and priorities and set forth priority projects and programs to support and facilitate more efficient transportation access to Northwest District.
The committee’s mission is to advise the City on transportation and parking issues in NW and support a full range of transportation options within the context of neighborhood livability and economic vitality with the goal of efficiently managing parking and reducing reliance on the single-occupancy automobile. The committee meets each third Wednesday of the month from 4:00 - 5:30 PM at the Friendly House located at 1737 NW 26th Ave to discuss all matters related to the Northwest District Parking Management Plan and advises the city on the district's transportation and parking issues.
