Temporary Street Use Application Process

Permit Application Processes:

 

**All permits will be emailed to you and do not require a visit to our Permit Center.**

 

(Simple) 

Submit a completed Simple Temporary Street Use Permit Application. You will receive an email with a TrackIT number for your records.

  1. Once we receive your completed application with all necessary information, we will process your request and email you an online invoice to be paid by a certain due date. The online invoice can be paid with credit card or electronic check. For pricing information, explore our current fee schedule.
  2. Once we receive confirmation that the invoice has been paid and the permit has been reviewed/approved by the necessary parties, we will send you your permit copy and any supporting documents that pertain to your reservation.
  • For Non-Metered areas, we will send you your receipt, a permit copy, 'no parking' signs to place out yourself, and this document explaining how to properly display and verify (if needed) the 'no parking' signs.
  • For Metered areas, we will only send you your receipt and a permit copy. PBOT installs the no parking signs for you in Metered areas.

 

(Complex) 

Submit a completed Complex Temporary Street Use Permit Application or Long Term Complex Temporary Street Use Permit Application (with necessary supporting documents). You will receive an email with a TrackIT number for your records.

  1. Once we receive your completed application with all necessary information, we will process your request and respond with a fee estimate. For pricing information, explore our current fee schedule.
  2. Permits are submitted for review to the necessary parties (i.e. Parking Control, Traffic Engineering, etc). If the permit is not approved by the review team, you will be contacted to discuss alternatives to meet your needs while adhering to City Code.
  3. Once a permit has been approved by the necessary parties and the fees are confirmed, we will email you an online invoice to be paid by a certain due date. The online invoice can be paid with credit card or electronic check. 
  4. Once we receive confirmation that the invoice has been paid and the permit has been reviewed/approved by the necessary parties, we will send you your permit copy and any supporting documents that pertain to your reservation.

Information for Complex requests that include the reservation of parking:

  • For Non-Metered areas, we will send you your receipt, a permit copy, 'no parking' signs to place out yourself, and this document explaining how to properly display and verify (if needed) the 'no parking' signs.
  • For Metered areas, we will send you your receipt, and a permit copy. PBOT installs the no parking signs for you in Metered areas.
