You can take your bike on buses for all the transit agencies shown on the map above without needing a permit.  Extra fees may apply in some cases.  See the transit agency website for details(click on their name in the list above).

Bicycle lockers (secure, dry enclosures for bicycles) are also available in downtown Portland & near transit lines throughout the Metro area; also, some TriMet transit centers now have Bike & Ride stations (secure, enclosed, limited-access rooms for parking bikes).
