Foster Letter Hunt Contest Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST.

CONTEST PERIOD

Portland Bureau of Transportation 2019 Foster Letter Hunt Contest begins on June 16, 2019 and ends September 10, 2019. By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the Official Rules and warrants that his or her entry complies with all requirements set out in the Official Rules. The odds of winning this contest are determined by the number of letters/entries collected by the contestant against the number of total contestants and raffle entries.

WHO MAY ENTER

This contest is open to residents of Portland, Oregon.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter, contestant will need to attend one or more events listed on Foster Letter Hunt webpage (https://www.portlandoregon.gov/transportation/79320). At the event, the contestant will need to get a secret letter from the event and save this letter for raffle submission. Details on where to find the letter are included in each event description.

Contestants will need to complete the online Raffle Entry Form to be eligible for the raffle. The Raffle Entry Form will ask contestants to provide the secret letter(s) they have collected. Each correct letter equals one raffle entry into the Grand Prize.

Contestants may fill out the Raffle Entry Form early on the Foster Letter Hunt webpage and PBOT will send a reminder email to contestants to submit their entries before the deadline. Limit one Raffle Entry Form submission per person. Submissions made with duplicate emails will be disqualified.

Deadline: All raffle entries must be submitted and received by September 10, 2019 at 11:59 PM.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

Winners will be chosen at random and notified by September 20, 2019. Winners will be notified via email using the email provided by contestant in the Raffle Entry Form. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of the email send time, the winner will be disqualified and contest organizers will select a new winner at random. Winners will be asked to provide a mailing address for prize delivery when they are notified by email.

Anyone can request a list of winners’ names by emailing PBOT at smarttrips@portlandoregon.gov. The request must be made by December 31, 2020.

CONTEST PRIZES

Grand Prizes: Four Visa gift cards each valued at $500. Limit one prize per person.
