Delays During City Permit Database Upgrade: Permit Center Closed Feb 6 & 7

Expect Delays for a Limited Period of Time

Portland Parks & Recreation Urban Forestry customers should be aware of an upcoming City permit database software upgrade and Permit Center (1900 SW 4th Avenue 1st floor) reduced hours in February 2020. This will cause delays in our ability to assist customers and in processing Urban Forestry permits for a limited time.

The permitting software migration is scheduled for 3 PM on Wednesday February 5 until the morning of Monday February 10, 2020.  We thank you in advance for your patience as customers and more than 1,200 City employees will have to adjust to using a new software system.

From Wednesday February 5 at 3PM to Monday February 10:

  • The Permit Center will be closed but will reopen for business as usual at 7:30 AM on Monday, February 10.
  • The DevHub online portal for submitting applications and fees will be unavailable.
  • Inspection scheduling through the IVR system will be unavailable.
  • Urban Forestry permit applications will not be processed. Permits will not be issued.

Urban Forestry permits and inspections will be delayed during the transition period from Monday February 10.

Closed February 6 and 7 and all Thursdays in February
