Urban Forestry’s standard of service is to respond to all voicemails and emails within 2 business days, and to connect customers with services, contacts or next steps for their needs.
If a tree has fallen, or is in imminent danger of falling, and is or will be blocking a public right of way or City property, please call 503-823-TREE (8733) and press 1 to obtain immediate assistance. Urban Forestry services will be dispatched as appropriate.
For all other tree requests, such as information on regulations, permits, planting, and tree programs, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 823-TREE (8733) and use the applicable prompt described below.
When submitting requests please provide a specific address if one exists for the location. Provide other information to help staff locate the tree(s) such as trail name, description of the area in a park, or nearby landmarks. When submitting email requests, attach a map and/or photo showing the location if possible.
