TRAFFIC ADVISORY 10/28/13: Section of NW Skyline Boulevard Reduced to One Lane for Street Repaving October 29-30, 2013

By Lindsay Wochnick

A short stretch of NW Skyline Boulevard near NW Hawkins Street will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic from Tuesday, October 29 through Wednesday, October 30, 2013, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Both traffic lanes will reopen when the work day ends.

The Portland Water Bureau will be repaving a one-fourth mile stretch of road beginning at NW Hawkins Boulevard and down the hill on NW Skyline Boulevard to the NW Cornell Road intersection.

Flaggers will be stationed to pass traffic through safely. Motorists are reminded to stay alert and use caution as traffic may suddenly stop. Alternate routes are encouraged for motorist to avoid traffic delays.

This asphalt paving work requires dry weather. The work will be re-scheduled under wet conditions.
