Portland, OR – A section of SE Lincoln Drive in Mt. Tabor Park will be closed to all foot, bike and motor vehicle traffic during the hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday beginning Tuesday February 9 to the first week of April. Pedestrians and bikes can still access trails above the closure area.
The Portland Water Bureau’s contractor, JW Fowler, will be installing a 48-inch pipe from the intersection of SE Lincoln Drive, SE Tabor Drive and SE Harrison Street down to the SE Lincoln Street entrance to the park.
Parking will be available on SE Lincoln Drive up to the southwest entrance to the Off-Leash Dog Park. Park users will still be able to access the park using SE Harrison Street to SE Tabor Drive. The Off-Leash Dog Park will remain open.
Remember to drive slowly, exercise caution when traveling in the construction zone, and obey traffic controllers.
