Now you can find out online!
The Portland Water Bureau is excited to announce the release of WaterWorks, an online map that shows where we are actively working in the City. Using WaterWorks, you can find current projects or events that may impact your water service or water quality, such as water system improvement projects, water main breaks, or water main flushing. You will find information about the project or event, including what you can expect and do during the project or disruption, and who to contact for more information. The release of WaterWorks expands the Water Bureau’s outstanding customer service by providing information at your fingertips, either on the computer or mobile device.
WaterWorks was created in response to customers requesting more online information about projects or events that affect water service or quality.
The Water Quality Information group was awarded a City of Portland Innovation Fund grant by the Portland City Council to fund the development of the tool by our partners in the eGovernment team at the Bureau of Technology Services. The Water Quality Information group has also partnered with the Communications and Maintenance and Construction groups in the Water Bureau to post information to the map.
