Black Family Festival City Resource Fair + Sunday Dinner

The City African American Network (CAAN) has organized bureaus across the City of Portland for a City resource fair for the Black community of Portland. Portland Water staff will be on hand with information about the Financial Assistance program.
Attend a workshop to learn how to apply for City jobs and how to contract with the City of Portland. A free Sunday dinner will be provided by local black-owned businesses and free family-friendly activities will be onsite. Bring the whole family!

The Fix-It Fair is a FREE City of Portland event where you can learn simple ways to save money and connect with community resources.
Visit the Portland Water table to get money-saving water tips and information on home water quality and how you can save water and money at home. And don’t miss these two FREE workshops:
10 a.m. | Water Quality & Home Plumbing Maintenance
Learn how to protect your family from lead in your home’s water and receive a free test kit. Get tips for maintaining your hot water heater, troubleshooting low water pressure, and other important drinking water quality issues.
11 a.m. | Ahorra Agua y Dinero en Casa
Obtén información acerca de dónde Portland obtiene su agua y cómo puedes ahorrar agua y dinero en tu hogar.
