Portland, Oregon celebrated Word Environment Day on June 5, 2013


World Environmental Day 2013

The United Nations Environment Programme Regional Office of North America selected the City of Portland to host World Environment Day (WED) activities on June 5, 2013. The 2013 worldwide theme was Reduce Your Foodprint. Portland invited all environmental and sustainability groups to be part of the celebration by scheduling events in the six weeks between Earth Day on April 22nd and World Environment Day on June 5th.
