First Portland Committee On Community-Engaged Policing Meeting To Be Held Nov. 28
Mayor Wheeler appointed the inaugural members of PCCEP in September.
WHAT: Initiated by the Mayor’s office, this is the first meeting of the Portland Committee on Community Engaged Policing.
PCCEP members will discuss ways in which they can work with the Mayor/Police Commissioner, Portland Police Bureau, and Portland's diverse constituencies to solicit and exchange information between the community and Portland Police Bureau (PPB) to achieve the desired outcomes of equitable policing, meaningful community engagement, and trust in PPB.
