Depending on the garden, you may be on a waitlist for several years. We will contact you via phone or email when a plot is available and you will be asked to:
1. Pay for the garden plot 2. Agree to actively garden the plot 3. Abide by the Community Garden policies and procedures
In the meantime, the Friends of Portland Community Gardens (our volunteer nonprofit partner) will email you with ways to connect with community gardens while you're waiting for a garden plot of your own. They will also send updates about new gardens that may be planned for your neighborhood. We appreciate your patience as we work to build more gardens and create more opportunities for growing food in Portland.
