Propose to locate the remote fill station inside the parking entryway.

Proposed Design

The fuel fill station will be located within the building footprint on the west wall of the parking entry. This space is open to the sidewalk and street at all times, and separated from parking area by a security gate/grill and man-door located more than 5' from the proposed location. The location will also be within line of site of a fuel truck parked in front of the building.

Reason for alternative

This an existing building. The ground floor walls adjacent to areas where a fuel truck could park are made up of doors and windows. Areas without doors and windows are not near fuel truck parking.

The Administrative staff has reviewed your appeal regarding the remote fill site for a diesel driven fire pump and the appeal is granted as proposed.
