Proposed Design

System Sensor notification appliance has been installed to provide notification not provided by previous FACP.

Reason for alternative

This fire alarm system is being replaced due to elevator recall requirements. To minimize the need for dry wall repair in walls and ceilings but still provide better notification to residents of a building fire alarm. Sound pressure measurements have been provided to show effectiveness.

Appeal Decision

Install non-low frequency devices in units above doorway for voluntary alarm system upgrade: Granted as proposed.
