This mag lock will be tied to the buildings Fire Alarm so that any general alarm will release the door so that it operates to its intended operation as a egress door. We will also have a access control card reader that will release the door for regular entry into the building for the residents. |

"Electromagnetic Lock at Egress Door from Parking Garage: Granted provided a pull station with signage is provided at the door and the electro-magnetic lock is tied into the fire alarm system such that activation of the fire alarm system or loss of power will unlock the door and provided signage to exits is also posted.
Note: Decision can be revoked at the discretion of the Fire Marshal where conditions of appeal are not met."
