Requires

There shall be provided on marine terminal property, a sufficient number of accessible hydrants. The number and location of hydrants and hose connections shall be determined by the authority having jurisdiction, but shall not be spaced further apart than 300 ft. nor more than 150 ft. from a dead end area.

Code Modification or Alternate Requested

We now have direct access to public hydrants along N Marine Dr. adjacent to the marine property in question.

Proposed Design

Pedestrian gates were installed along our security fence line along N Marine Dr. allowing for direct access to public hydrants.

Reason for alternative

Public hydrants are now easily accessible from within the terminal property in question.
