| Reason for alternative | The building cannot be moved any closer than 265' to the nearest road (N Iris Way) without impeding on the root protection zones of the existing site trees on Portland Parks land, nor can the trees be removed. A fire access road cannot be constructed as its cost would be far higher than the entire budget of this project (nor does Portland Parks want us to build one). |
