Dead-end fire apparatus access roads in excess of 300 feet in length shall be provided with an approved turnaround. Diagrams of approved turnarounds can be found in the Access and Water Supply Guide: (OFC 503.2.5, D103.4 & Figure D103.1) The existing dead-end street does not meet the adequate fire turnaround dimension. A Fire Code Appeal is required for approval. Any conditions of the Fire Code Appeal shall be included in the plan set.
