Portland Fire & Rescue fights commercial fire at Glisan Street Dental

Portland Fire & Rescue responded to a commercial fire at Glisan Street Dental late this evening--the fire was knocked down in minutes--firefighters remain on scene.

The fire started in an exterior dumpster, extended to the building, and damaged electrical equipment nearby. Firefighters are still at the location to ensure full extinguishment.

Because electrical equipment poses a unique risk--Portland General Electric has been called to the scene.

Incident Command has requested a fire investigator to determine cause and damage estimates.

No injuries to civilians or are reported as a result of this fire.
