**Update** Portland Fire & Rescue Dive Team Assist With Sauvie Island Water Incident

PF&R Dive team was called to assist Fire District 30 on reports of a paddle boarder that had gone under the water near Collins Beach on Sauvie Island. The initial report at 4:21 p.m. was that a female in her 20s was paddle boarding with out a life preserver when she went into the water.Other responding agencies include: Scappoose Fire Boat, Coast Guard, Sheriffs Office Boat, and Sauvie Island land based units.

At 5:50 p.m. recovery operations began.
