Thank you for offering your opinion on housing and community economic development needs for Multnomah County, the City of Portland, and the City of Gresham. Please provide your comments regarding the housing and economic development priorities listed on the back of this page. Use this page for general comments. Feel free to send longer comments. Jurisdiction staff, will provide multiple ways to comment each fall and spring, to hear, and to make a record of your testimony. These comments will be published in the Annual Action Plan of the five-year Consolidated Plan 2016-2020. In addition, Portland will specifically use this information to inform this year’s budget deliberations about programs and projects funded with federal resources in this fiscal year.

Housing and Community Economic Development Need

Please comment on housing and community economic development needs based on the Consortium goals. Annually, approximately $10 million to $12 million of federal grants are included in the Housing Bureau projects and programs.

  • Goal: Housing Development
    Affordable housing choice, includes safe housing, in good condition for all residents.
  • Goal: Homelessness Prevention Services
    This goal includes preventing and reducing homelessness and increasing stability for all residents.
  • Goal: Community Economic Development
    This goal includes improving infrastructure, facilities, economic opportunities and economic development
